A Community of Imperfect but Loving People Gathered Around the Life and Love of Jesus Christ
The heart of our Little Brown Church in Odell and our Little White Church in Pine Grove is simply the imperfect but loving people who come together in this faith community. Our greatest desire is to reflect the love and life of Jesus Christ throughout the Columbia River Gorge and beyond — by sharing the good news of the Gospel message.
Two Locations, One Family
Wy’East Community Church gathers in two small buildings in the heart of Hood River County. Both congregations share the same faith, the same pastor, and the same heart for the Gorge and the world beyond it.

Our Creed
Wy’East Community Church centers its doctrinal beliefs on the historic Christian faith, beautifully summarized in the Apostles’ Creed — the shared confession of Christians across centuries and continents.
The Apostles’ Creed
God the Father
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
Jesus Christ, His Only Son
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit
and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended to heaven
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty.
From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
The Holy Spirit and the Church
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic* church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
*That is, the true Christian church of all times and all places.
